Clayton Hamrick DMD, MD
Dr. Hamrick joined the University of Florida in July 2019 as a visiting clinical assistant professor in oral and maxillofacial surgery, or OMFS, where he is focused on didactic and clinical instruction for predoctoral dental students and residents in the department’s advanced education program.
Dr. Hamrick also provided patient care in the OMFS resident center, the Student Oral Surgery center, and UF Health Implant Dentistry.
Dr. Hamrick attended Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina, where he earned his bachelor’s of science in biology in 2006.
He then went to the University of Florida and earned his dental degree in 2012, his medical degree in 2016, completed the OMFS resident program at UFCD in 2018, and then completed earned a general surgery internship certificate from the UF College of Medicine in June 2019.
He also completed externships in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University of Texas, the University of North Carolina, and the UF College of Medicine in Jacksonville.
He has been a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons since 2012.
