The All-on-4® Dental Implants Process
Every oral surgery experience, including dental implant placement for the All-on-4® treatment concept, begins with a consultation. Our oral surgeons will examine your smile to confirm that you are ready for a safe and successful procedure, and to schedule any preparatory procedures such as bone grafting. If you need a preliminary procedure, you must schedule that appointment before having your dental implants placed. However, your appointment will also be scheduled to take place after that procedure.
On the day of your All-on-4® procedure , the dental implants are placed, and a temporary prosthetic is attached to them. This set of temporary teeth stays in place until you have fully healed, and the dental implants have fully integrated into your jaw.
Following this appointment, you will need to allow several weeks for the implants to fuse with your jaw. Once the implants are fully healed, you will have a follow-up appointment with your regular dentist to have the final prosthetic teeth put into place. These teeth can be cleaned like your original teeth, and only an oral surgeon can remove them for advanced cleaning during your normal dental appointments.
